MIXING MATSUI COLORS
IS FAST AND EASY.
For example, if you need a
basic Navy Blue (MB), Brite
Red (MFB), and Gold Yellow
(MFR) for printing on white
garments, it's as simple as
mixing 95% of the RC301
Clear Binder Base with the
NEO Color Pigment needed.
A more opaque color can be
made mixing the 301 Clear
half-and-half (50/50) with the
301M White BinderBase &
mixing 90% of that with 10%
of the color needed.
301M White can also be
printed down by itself as a
matte underlayer to assist
color brightness if needed.
You can fine-tune colors by
slightly changing the ratios
or download the free CMS
software from our site to
choose an exact recipie for
a specific PantoneTM color
that you'd like to formulate:
NEO RC formulas
for transparent colors
NEO OW formulas
for semi-opaque colors.
Or, if you'd like for us to mix
them up for you, let us know.
MIXING DISCHARGE INKS
IS ALSO FAST AND EASY.
Mix 90-95% Brite Discharge
Base with 5-10% NEO Color
Pigmentsand then add 6-8%
of the powder activator ZFS.
Less Pigment is needed if
the garment dye discharges
to a light natural fiber color,
More Pigment is needed if
the garment dye discharges
to darker natural shades.
Brite Discharge Base can
also be 1st printed by itself
as an underlayer for printing
mixed colors as a top layer.
If you want to use the CMS
software to get formulas for
mixing discharge inks, use
the NEO RC Guide and
subsitute Brite Discharge
Base where 301 Clear is
indicated. Note that the
variation of shirt brands and
the dyes used on natural
color cotton fiber will require
testing for best results.
